About Bahoolie

Bahoolie is dedicated to creating fine handmade dog collars, leashes, horse products, and other functional items for animals and humans alike. We are blessed with the greatest team of leatherworkers, designers, technology experts, marketers, and testers. Most everything we sell is made out of leather, Biothane (coated webbing), or wood, but we also spend a lot of time creating digital art that we print onto other substrates. Everything is handmade and everything is customizable. So if you don't see an option that you'd like, just ask and we'll try to make it. 

Our company is called "bahoolie" in honor of my oldest brother, Ken, who died in 1978 at an early age. He treated me like a son and we had an imaginary tribe called the "bahoolie tribe". We would wear pillows on our heads and have very "serious" tribal meetings about the nature of life and the proper way to dream.

Quality is our top priority, so we don't make compromises on materials or methods. Everything we sell is made in our own shop in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. We're always learning so let us know if you have new ideas for improvement.
